WOODLAND, CA – Today, at his 4th annual Women of the Year event, Congressman John Garamendi (D-Fairfield, Yuba City, Davis, CA) honored 38 women, including 16 Solano County residents, who are leaders and visionaries in their communities. The women have all made significant contributions to their communities through community service, business, education, local government, and the military. The honorees from Solano County are Barbara Beckworth, Tranine Chisom, Anna Eaton, Barbara Graham, Lynn Jewell, Sakari Lyons, Catherine Morris, Kathleen Ramos, Susan Schwartz, Michalle Shown-Rodriguez, Tracee Stacy, Renee Tadlock, Louise Walker, Nancy Wells, K. Patrice Williams, and Patricia Zetah.
