Testing Administrator, COVID-19 Testing, Mobile

Locations throughout Solano County

10-19 hours per week

Position Purpose:

The primary responsibility of the COVID-19 Testing Administrator is to ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient experience for each community member who opts to complete a COVID-19 test at one of our mobile testing locations. This is a client and public-facing position.

The person in this role will need to have a clean driving record, the ability to lift heavy objects on a regular basis, be well organized and detail-oriented, have excellent customer service skills, and be a clear communicator.

The Testing Administrator will be responsible for duties related to the site set up, individual registration, testing administration, site cleanliness, compliant handling of COVID testing samples, clean up and take down for all COVID-19 testing locations. Providing welcoming and clear communication, following standard protocol, ensuring excellent record-keeping, and maintaining confidentiality of medical information is vitally important to the success of this program. 

Responsibilities:

  • Successfully complete all Testing Administrator training and onboarding.
  • Assist with the set up, operations, and break down of all testing sites.
  • Check that individuals register correctly at each testing site and assist with registration as needed.
  • Keep up to date with testing compliance training.
  • Reach out to potential site locations, building relationships with the point of contact at each location.
  • Schedule testing locations and communicate the site dates, times, and location to the Empower Solano Administrative Assistant.
  • Maintain inventory of test kits and supplies. Communicate test kits and supplies needed to the Logistics Coordinator as necessary.
  • Confirm Go-Bags, complete with necessary test kits, supplies, tables, chairs, proper signage, and technology, are all accounted for prior to attending any testing locations.
  • Remain at the testing site for the duration of the scheduled shift.
  • May need to provide training to incoming Testing Administrators as necessary.
  • Pack up and properly store used test kits and prepare for drop-off.
  • Provide feedback on testing site experiences and recommend improvements to the Empower Solano CEO.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a customer service or public-facing position
  • Ability to lift 20/50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Highly organized and able to communicate effectively
  • Experience working with Google and Microsoft applications including G-Suite (gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets).
  • Valid CA state driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to speak Spanish and/or Ta
  • galog a plus
