State and county commissions can be daunting.
To answer questions about serving, Governor Jerry Brown’s Appointments Secretary Mona Pasquil and Solano County Board of Supervisors’ Chairwoman Erin Hannigan will speak at a special seminar, “Demystifying State and County Commissions and Appointments,” on March 16.
The seminar will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum, 734 Marin St.
“We are always looking for well-qualified candidates to fill hundreds of available appointments to state boards and commissions,” said Pasquil, in a news release. “That’s why I’m very excited about being a part of this seminar, because it will spread the word to people who may be interested, provide information on the application process, and ultimately, increase the number of people who
